Valley Ridge Direct Primary Care and Performance Physical Therapy

Roots in the Region, Commitment to Our Community.

"Growing up in this community, I dreamed of becoming a doctor. My goal was to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to be the person that could address the health concerns of the people around me. Now having completed my residency in Family Medicine followed by experience in both military and civilian medical practice, I am excited to come home and be your primary care doctor. I will be here for my patients through the highs and lows that life, and our bodies, bring. As a mother, wife and daughter, I understand the need for accessible and transparent healthcare and am thrilled to put the Direct Primary Care model into practice."

My Story

I bring a wealth of diverse experience and a patient-centered approach to family medicine. Growing up on a dairy farm in East Otto, I developed a grounded perspective that informs my compassionate care. I pursued my undergraduate studies at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, earning a Bachelor's Degree with majors in Biology and Spanish. I also played soccer for the Spartans while attending. I then returned home to complete medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.

Upon graduating in May 2015, I was commissioned into the U.S. Army, where I completed my residency training in Family Medicine at Madigan Army Medical Center, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, from 2015-2018. My military service then led me to Stuttgart, Germany, where I provided comprehensive healthcare to U.S. military members, their families, and retirees at Army Health Clinic Stuttgart. This period also included a short deployment to Kabul, Afghanistan, further broadening my clinical experience in diverse and challenging environments. I am currently serving as an Officer in a Medical Readiness Unit with the U.S. Army Reserves.

After moving back stateside to Eastern North Carolina, I took a position with Medfirst Family Medicine and Urgent Care, where I practiced for 3 years before moving back home to Ellicottville. I am board-certified in Family Medicine and dedicated to delivering patient-centered care that is firmly rooted in evidence-based medicine. I believe in building strong relationships with my patients, focusing on their unique needs while upholding the highest standards of medical practice.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring my new home with my husband and three sons, staying active through exercise, and traveling. I look forward to partnering with you and your family on your health journey.
